The South West Norfolk Conservative Association, (known locally to members as the “SWNCA”) serves over 80,000 residents within the South West Norfolk constituency. Affiliated to the Conservative Party, the Association is self-funding and abides by a strict set of pre-defined rules.
The Association has a well defined management structure, with numerous local branches and sub-committees, all reporting to the Association Officers and Executive Management team. The Association Officers are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting, and adopt the following positions: President, Chairman, Deputy Chairman Political, and Deputy Chairman Membership and Finance.
The Executive Management team is the ruling body within the Association, and is made up of the Association officers, various Branch Chairman and the Chairman of the Constituency Women’s Committee.
The local branches have branch committees who are responsible for running and organising local branch events. Each branch has an elected Chairman who is responsible for liaising with and reporting back to the Association at regular intervals.
